Mental Health Center, 1981 - 1991:
Full responsibility for operation of an outpatient
mental health center for children and adults living
in the city of Alameda. From 1962 to 1981 similar positions
with Alameda County Mental Health Services in Criminal
Justice Mental Health Evaluation, Psychiatric Emergency
Service, Crisis Outpatient-Inpatient units, etc. Additional
responsibilities have included: Quality Assurance,
Utilization Review, Medication Monitoring programs
and psychiatric consultation to: Center for Independent
Living, Berkeley; Manpower Advisory Council/Alameda
County Training and Employment Board; Community Resources
for Independent Living, Hayward; and the Affirmative
Action Program of the Alameda County Administrator's
Office. Development and supervision of training programs
in diagnostic evaluation, interviewing techniques and
psychopharmacology for psychiatric interns and residents,
psychology interns, and social work trainees. Development
and staffing of various community advisory boards. |
